Target Baby Registry Must Haves

It can be challenging trying to figure out what you actually need versus what you want on your Amazon or Target baby gift registry list as a first-time mom.
It’s too easy to get excited about your first baby and wanting to buy everything baby-related. But, you honestly don’t need all that much especially at the beginning.
I was a wee bit overly excited being pregnant for the first time and registered at 3 different stores. Those stores were Amazon, Target, and Nordstrom.
I didn’t really use Nordstrom as much because I found much more affordable items for my friends and family to purchase on Amazon and Target.
But in this particular post, I wanted to go over all of my Target baby registry must-have items.
The one thing I loved about Target versus Amazon’s baby registry was that they were always reliable. I didn’t have to worry about an item randomly disappearing or becoming unavailable like it did on Amazon.
However, you can’t go wrong with either one of them. And I’m not saying Target has the best baby registry because having multiple baby registries only made it easier and much more convenient for my friends and family to purchase from so that they weren’t limited to one baby registry.

If you haven’t already, don’t forget to check out my other post about what to add to your baby registry list here (this one isn’t just limited to Target-specific products).
Before you continue, I wanted to let you know not to focus too much on the specific brands I include in this target baby registry list but more so the general idea (baby carrier, infant car seat, convertible car seat, and diapers).
I included multiples of some items like baby lotions and diapers for example but with different brands I personally liked or were highly recommended by others.
Diapers
We are a huge fan of Pampers Swaddlers and almost exclusively used them for all three of our babies. They are the only brand (specifically Swaddlers because Pampers do carry different types) that have never given us issues with leakage.
My friends love Huggies and The Honest Company so I had to add those brands to the list as well!

Baby Bottles
I strictly breastfed my first daughter and the only bottle that my husband was able to give her that she would take was the Comotomo Silicone Bottle. I read that it was the closest to a nipple which is why it was best for breastfed babies.
Comotomo Silicone Bottle 5oz (2pk)
My second and third babies were mostly formula fed and their favorite bottles were the Nuk bottles. They seemed confused when I tried to use the Comotomo bottles I used with my first.

Munchkin 4pc Details Bottle & Cup Detailing Brush Set
Baby Diaper Station
Although I included the changing pad as a must-have item on this Target baby gift registry list, I didn’t find myself needing it anymore after my second and third baby. (You can ready why here.)

I used the original Elvie Pump with my first baby and I remember it leaking a lot and having to be fidgeted with in order for it to work. But when it did work, it worked well.
I do want to add that I purchased the Elvie Pump when it was pretty new and it could have come a long ways since then!
Elvie Pump – Double Electric Breast Pump
With my second baby, I decided to try out the Spectra S1 after reading a ton of reviews on the best breast pumps. I had to be glued to the wall every time I pumped but it worked okay for me at the beginning since my second daughter was in the NICU for several weeks.
Once we brought her home, not having a portable breast pump during the day made it hard for me to continue pumping throughout the day.
Spectra S1 Plus Portable & Rechargeable Hospital Strength Double Electric Breast Pump
I used the Elvie Stride Plus with my son (third baby) since I ended up selling my OG Elvie and I already had a wall plug breast pump. It was a newer pump and probably my favorite pump out of all three of the breast pumps I’ve had.

Things To Consider
There are several baby items I didn’t include in this baby registry list post because one, I didn’t think it was essential and two, Target didn’t sell them.
Some of the baby products I listed might not be considered essential but they helped me with my three babies.
Although this Target baby registry does not have as many items as other baby registry lists online, I hope it gave you a more personalized list of things you might want to consider adding to your baby registries.
