In this blog post I’m going to go over all of my favorite toddler playroom ideas that include the best pretend play toys that make up the playrooms and some of my personal organization recommendations!

Toddler Playroom Ideas

We’ll start this post off with pretend play toys and other kids playroom toys to fill up our playroom that we personally love in our household.

Playroom Pretend Play Toys

One of my girls must-haves in their playroom is a pretend play kitchen from Coco Village.

Before getting this one, we had the TinyLand pretend play kitchen and also loved it. The reason why we replaced our kitchen was because a friend of ours was wanting to buy a pretend kitchen second hand. This was the perfect opportunity to order a Coco Village kitchen to match the girls’ refrigerator we got from them!

Here are other pretend play kitchens you’d love:

Little Chef Cyprus Play Kitchen Set

Chelsea All-in-1 Toddler Play Kitchen

FAO Schwarz Ultimate Play Kitchen with Refrigerator

Tiny Land Play Kitchen Set

ROBOTIME Play Kitchen

Other great pretend play toys to consider:

Wooden Workbench Playset

Melissa & Doug Let’s Play House (You don’t want to miss out on this!)

Le Toy Van Honeybake Reversible Wooden Grocery Store & Cafe

Melissa & Doug Freestanding Wooden Fresh Mart Grocery Store

Other Kids Playroom Toys

Another must have is the Avenlur indoor wooden playground! Don’t mind the horrible quality picture. I screenshotted it from the one video I had of the wooden playground 🙂

Avenlur offers two different sizes. And the one we got was the large size. One of our friends got the medium size and she wished she had paid the extra to get the larger size.

If these Avelnur wooden playgrounds are a little bigger than you’d want for your playroom, a wooden climbing triangle might be what you’d want to get.

This one isn’t exactly a toy but it’s a great addition to a playroom. A modular couch for the kids is perfect for a playroom because they can build forts, sit on it to watch TV, or to lay down to take naps.

A kids play tent is one of the best playroom ideas because it can be used for quiet time, a reading nook, and even used as a house pretend play.

Toy Organization For Playrooms

With all the pretend toy playroom ideas and kids playroom toys I went over, space is going to get limited in your playroom. This means we need some really good toy organizers to create as much space as we can.

This is the one we have (ours is natural wood versus the white) in the girls’ playroom that fits perfectly in the closet. We put all of their little toys in there. Things will get mixed up and I’ll go through once a month to purge and reorganize.

We also have a wooden toy chest for the bigger toys and rattan baskets for stuffed animals.

Another great kids playroom organizer is a cubby like this one. You can put baskets in the cubbies for extra storage or stack books next to each other as a bookshelf.

If you have a toddler who loves to play dress up, then you’ll want to get this dress up rack. The link is the exact item I purchased on Amazon that’s shown on my instagram! You can find more of my home recommendations on my page.
