I didn’t think gender reveal gifts was a thing because I assumed people brought gifts to baby showers – not gender reveals. Well I recently found out that bringing gifts to gender reveals was definitely a thing.

It’s more of a thing especially if the gender reveal replaced the baby shower. So then it makes sense!

Either way, I put together a pretty easy list of gender reveal gifts you can bring to add to the excitement of finding the gender of the new baby!

Gender Reveal Gifts

A good idea before buying a gift would be to contact the gender keeper to get the right gender-specific baby things. But if you’re not good at keeping secrets then let’s just stick to gender neutral stuff!

1. Personalized Baby Items

There are so many baby items you can get personalized on Etsy. The only thing to be aware of with Etsy is taking account for their longer shipping.

Despite the longer shipping, they quite literally have anything you can think of such as a personalized baby blanket, baby brush, baby name sweaters, name wooden blocks, and so much more.

2. Keepsake Gifts

Some keepsake gift ideas are baby keepsake boxes you can find on Etsy or Amazon, a handprint kit, and custom jewelry for moms that have baby’s birthstone on it along with their siblings if this isn’t their first baby.

3. Baby Books

You can purchase a baby book for the parents to fill out or baby books they can read to their baby as they grow!

I loved receiving books for my kids. We had a stack of books we had gotten and read throughout the years that were also passed down with each kid.

4. Gift Cards

One of the easiest but useful gifts is a gift card. People do not want to admit it but who doesn’t love a good gift card. You can pair a gift card to Target, Walmart, or somewhere else that sells baby items with another thing on this list of gender reveal gifts.

5. Must Have Baby Items

You can’t go wrong with diapers, wipes, pacifiers, butt paste, and baby hygiene items.

I would even consider baby teething toys as a must have!

6. Something On Baby Registry

Most of the time, there is a baby registry you can scope through and see what they need for the baby. That would be a quick and easy way to ship their gift right to your house so you can wrap it and bring it to the gender reveal.

7. Nursery Decor

If you are close friends with the parent of the new baby and you know what theme they are going for in their nursery, you can find something that fits the theme.

Or picture frames for the baby’s dresser is always a safe route to go.

8. Postpartum Related Items

I feel like moms are not always taken care of after giving birth. A postpartum gift basket would make for a really nice gift for the mom.

A gift card to a local nail salon or spa would be a beautiful gift to the mom as well.

9. Flowers

Flowers is always a good gesture especially paired with wine (for after the baby of course), a food item, or even a box of diapers.

You can find fresh flowers for low cost at your local Publix or other grocery stores.

10. Sweets

A box of chocolates and a bottle of good wine for after the baby has been some of my favorite gifts.
